The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are inevitable surface scratches, dents and chips consistent with age.
The powder box: the mounts are slightly tarnished. Traces of dust. Slight cracks in the mother-of-pearl.
The case: minor losses to the mother-of-pearl. The metal is tarnished. Some traces of restorations, especially at the top and bottom.
The two nécesaires : metal is tarnished. One with a loss and a chip at one corner. The other : an engraved polylobed mother-of-pearl element is missing.
