The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The website and the catalogue illustrations are accurate despite being slightly too bright.

There are some minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
There are several losses to the gilding revealing the white gesso and the bare wood underneath throughout.
One drapery has been restored.
The marble tops with some chips to the edges, losses and chips to one (approx. 4 cm.)
