The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The 1712 beaker: marks clear to partly legible; engraving clear; some excess soldering to underside at construction; light scratching consistent with age and use; small nicks to rim.
The 1731 beaker: marks clear; engraving partly erased; wear to motifs; small nick to foot and excess soldering to underside for a possible repair invisible on the outside.
The 1737 beaker: marks clear to legible; engraving clear; small bruise to foot-rim which does not affect stability; small solder repair to foot where it creases to rise to body with hairline split visible on the outside; wear and some scratching on plain section of body; small dent to upper rim; heavy gauge.
