The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Generally good order; some sanding/small imperfections to the glaze in the making; the box with two small firing lines (in the making), one of these to the footrim and with an associated fine hairline (approx. 1.5 in.); a small flat chip to the inner rim of the box (not visible when cover is placed) cover with minute areas of wear to gilt rim. No chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing.
