The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The panel and paint surface are stable. There is one dark pentimento in the sky between the two riders. Under UV, there are a number of touches of inpainting to the sky as well as to the raised ground over which the horses are jumping.
