The present example is only one of two known of this rare cat form by Limehouse. See D. Drakard, op. cit., p. 33. fig. 53 for an illustration of this piece alongside a paw fragment found at the Limehouse factory excavation site (fig. 54) that precisely matches the model. The other known example was recently sold at Bonhams, London, 27 November 2024, lot 174 (£70,000).
