The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition; some tiny firing flaws in the making; very light wear to the enamels and gilding; a small nick to the rim of the pot in the making (glazed over); a small flat chip to the underside of the spout tip (gilt over), possibly in the making; tiny nick to the cover’s inner flange. No chromium was found in the green enamels during XRF testing.
