- Overall condition good. Prominent traces of tarnish throughout. Some scratches throughout. Gross weight: 262 gr.
- O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-80: Art Deco 'cube' desk clock, Cartier Paris, circa 1925. Particularity: although the manufacture of 'cube' clocks slowed significantly after 1920 as Cartier opened up to a wider range of clock shapes, production of these 'cube' clocks continued. The decorations were updated, taking, as on this example, the Oriental forms of Chinese scrolls.
- Signed Cartier, maker's mark (Maurice Coüet), nos 3455 and 2038.Movement engraved 'US patent 25 Jan. 1904'.
- Movement 15 jewels.
- The black enamel with some losses and traces of repairs.
