-O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-63 : Art Deco ‘Mignonette’ ‘cube’ desk clock, Cartier Paris, circa 1920. Particularity: this is one of the last versions of the ‘cube’ design which has been a mainstay of Cartier’s clock production since the beginning of the century and which contributed to affirm Cartier’s style in clock production. The position of the chapter ring outside of the dial area, its enamelling, as well as the enamelled dial, point to a richer version of the traditional Cartier ‘gold and silver’ ‘mignonette’.
