- Overall condition good. Some traces of tarnish and scratches throughout. Plaque under the base engraved 'Email sur Or Doublé Argent'. Gross weight: 104 gr.
- O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-85: Belle Epoque 'Mignonette' 'cube' desk clock, Cartier Paris, 1912. Particularity: an example of the smallest size of Cartier's 'cube' clock production which contributed to affirming Cartier's style in clock manufacturing. The thin gold surface is soldered onto a thicker silver base which brought down the cost of manufacture without sacrificing its aspect. This manufacturing technique is mentioned by the plaque underneath the base with the indication: 'émail doublé or sur argent'.
- Dial signed Cartier, no. 3996. Movement no. 88679.
