The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. A few traces of tarnish and scratches throughout. The case back has been cleaned. Gross weight: 318 gr.
- O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-76: Belle Epoque desk clock with folding strut, Cartier Paris, circa 1908. Particularity: the round table models along with the cube, square and arch-shaped models contributed to affirming Cartier's style in clockmaking in the early XXth century. Different sizes of round clocks were made at this period but this size is the only one with a guilloché enamel center. Made in Paris by Eugène Bako, the clock was then sent to the Cartier store in New York to be sold there.
- Dial signed Cartier, partially erased, stand signed Paris, maker's mark (Eugène Bako), nos. 972 and 155.
- Movement 15 jewels.
- The dial with some small black spots, losses and scratches.
- The pink guilloché enamel in good condition.
- The white enamel with minor losses.
- The diamonds all complete.
