- O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-90: Belle Epoque minute repeater 'cube' desk clock, Cartier Paris, 1907. Particularity: variations in enamel colour, guilloché design, size, type, movement, bezel enamel design, hands, push-button, side panel decoration etc., made that a large number of these clocks were manufactured. In this instance where Cartier's inventory numbers for this clock and two other near identical clocks practically succeed each other, it could be deducted that Cartier's orders from the manufacturer tended to have the same guilloché design and enamel colours. The bezel here shows an unusual use of green enamel around the white enamel dots. It contributes to having a purple-green colour combination dear to Cartier.
