- Overall condition good. Some small scratches. Gross weight: 230 gr. - O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-70: Belle Epoque desk clock, Cartier Paris, circa 1910. Particularity: this model came in a small and a large size. The moulded agate base could be designed with meander-ending feet, or even made in ivory. The use of the 'straw yellow' colour for the enamel is unusual at Cartier's perhaps because to create a gilt effect, an object in guilloché gold or silver-gilt need not be enamelled yellow. - Dial signed Cartier, no. 7173. - Movement 15 jewels. - The dial in very good condition, a few minute spots. - The agate in good condition, a few small scratches. - The yellow enamel in good condition. - Some losses and traces of discoloration to the white enamel. - The diamonds all complete. - Movement ticking at time of cataloguing, working order and timekeeping cannot be guaranteed at time of purchase. - Please see Important Notice at the back of the catalogue for all clocks and watches and regarding coloured stones.
