- O.Bachet & A. Cartier, 2020, expertise no. BC2003-70: Belle Epoque desk clock, Cartier Paris, circa 1910. Particularity: this model came in a small and a large size. The moulded agate base could be designed with meander-ending feet, or even made in ivory. The use of the 'straw yellow' colour for the enamel is unusual at Cartier's perhaps because to create a gilt effect, an object in guilloché gold or silver-gilt need not be enamelled yellow.
