The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Bon état général. Légère abrasion sur l’ensemble de la surface. Petits trous au front, de part et d’autre du nez et au niveau de la bouche. Eclats avec léger manque sur l’arête nasale et sur les pourtours avant du visage. Légère érosion du côté gauche de la partie inférieure de l’arête nasale. À l’arrière, érosion avec parties manquantes sur les pourtours inférieur et latéral. Léger manque et trous sur le pourtour supérieur. Patine conforme à l’ancienneté et à l’utilisation répétée de l’œuvre, traces de kaolin visible sur l’ensemble de la surface.

Good overall condition. Slight abrasion across the entire surface. Small holes are visible on the forehead, on either side of the nose, and around the mouth. Chips with minor losses are present along the nasal ridge and on the front edges of the face. There is slight erosion on the left side of the lower part of the nasal ridge. On the reverse, erosion with losses is visible along the lower and lateral edges. Minor losses and small holes are present along the upper edge. The patina is consistent with the age and repeated use of the piece, with traces of kaolin visible across the surface.
