The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Très bon état général. Petits trous d'anciens insectes xylophages sur l’ensemble de la surface. Ligne verticale, en son centre, avec restauration indigène (agrafe) et probablement recollée ultérieurement. Pointe de la corne gauche descendant jusqu’à la partie ajourée cassée/recollée. Abrasion sous le museau et léger éclat sur son pourtour, près de l’extrémité de l’œil droit. Fissure à l’arrière sur le support du cimier avec restaurations indigènes (agrafes). Patine conforme à l'ancienneté et à l'utilisation prolongée de l'œuvre.

Very good overall condition. Small holes from former wood-boring insects across the surface. A vertical line at the centre, with an indigenous repair (staple), and likely reattached at a later stage. The tip of the left horn extending down to the openwork section has been broken and reattached. Abrasion beneath the snout and a minor chip along the edge near the tip of the right eye. Crack at the back on the crest support, with indigenous repairs (staples). Patina consistent with the age and prolonged use of the piece.
