The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Manques au titre (le feuillet fait 235 x 183 mm), qui est contrecollé. Mouillures et salissures, surtout en début et fin de volume. Feuillets p2 et p3 réenmargés en marge extérieure. Taches brunes dans le texte des feuillets b2-3. Exemplaire lavé.


Lacking p6 (recto blank, verso with Aldus's device). Added as a frontispiece : portrait of Castiglione, etched after Raphael's original painting (format 266 x 196, pasted). Titre lacks parts (leaf 235 x 183 mm) and pasted. Dampstaining and soiling , especially at the beginning and ending of the volume. Leafs p2 and p3 repaired in their outer margins. Brown stains in the text of leaves b2 & b3. Washed copy.
