Carteret, Illustrés modernes IV, p. 66 ("belle publication cotée") ; The Artist and the Book, n° 83 ("in these carefully balanced pages, some of the verses partially overlay the figures - a typographic device used in many modern books").

In-4 (315 x 257 mm), en feuilles. 50 compositions de Charles Despiau, dont 43 lithographies et 7 bois établis par l'artiste avec la collaboration de J.-L. Perrichon. Titre et lettrines dessinés par Louis Jou (rares piqûres). Un des 69 exemplaires sur Hollande, celui-ci le n°15, signé par l'illustrateur à la justification. En feuilles, sous couverture muette à rabats de l'éditeur, chemise, étui. Provenance : envoi autographe signé : "à Mademoiselle Anglade, avec mes respectueux hommages. C. Despiau".
