The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age. Evidence of adaptations and repair. Large areas of tarnish and some solder to the reverse.
- Emerald centres likely to be later added.
- With screwdriver to detach the diamond-set elements from the tiara frame.
- Metal unsigned.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 24.00 - 26.00 carats, assessed to be on average I to K colour, a few L to M colour, mainly SI clarity, a few I clarity. The central figure of eight motif with colourless stone replacement.
- Emeralds: in closed back setting, with typical natural inclusions, some surface reaching, some scratches and nicks to the facets.
