The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal, consistent with normal wear. One earring with minor metal loss to the diamond setting, but diamond still set securely. With post and clip fittings.
- Additional marks: French import marks for gold, Italian 750 marks, maker's marks 'star 150 ROMA' for Ubaldo de Crescenzi.
- Amethyst and pink tourmaline: each with flat-cut table and facetted pavilion, with typical inclusions, some small scratches to the table facet.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 0.40 - 0.60 carat, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
