The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Clip fittings with good tension.
- Additional marks: Italian 750 marks, indistinct and rubbed Italian maker's marks possibly 'star 150 ROMA' for Ubaldo de Crescenzi.
- Emeralds: measure 12.4 x 9.8 x 5.3 mm and 12.2 x 9.8 x 6.6 mm (Gem & Pearl Laboratory) - calculated to weigh approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats and 4.40 - 5.40 carats respectively, with typical natural inclusions, some surface reaching, some small scratches, abrasion marks and nicks to the facets, one emerald with a slightly more noticeable scratch to the table facet.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 4.50 - 5.50 carats, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
