The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with age. Small traces of solder. Single pin fitting has been soldered in position and was probably originally detachable, with safety catch. Two small links to the outer frame, possibly from a safety chain that might have been attached previously.
- Additional marks: signed CARTIER . PARIS . LONDRES .
- Amethyst: in closed back setting, measures very approximately 18.45 x 15.55 x unable to access depth due to mounting, with typical natural inclusions, some small scratches to the surface throughout.
- Diamonds: total weight very approximately 0.30 - 0.50 carat.
- Seed pearls: of cream to silver body colour, with rose overtones, round, some with small blemishes and light scratches.
