The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Some small areas of tarnish. Some glue residue present to the coral flowerheads. Single pin fitting, with safety catch.
- Additional mark: 14K.
- Coral: with typical fibrous structure, several lighter areas, drilled, with small tension fractures, nicks and chips.
- Submitted to the GCS Laboratory and a verbal report states ‘natural precious coral, Pleurocorallium Elatius, no indications of treatment’.
- Turquoise: in good condition overall, with some small areas of matrix visible, some small scratches and a few nicks. With some variation in colour throughout.
- Lapis lazuli: in good condition overall, with typical appearance, some small nicks and chips.
