The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Brooch fitting with signs of wear, traces of solder and tarnish. Necklace clasp secure. Brooch with single pin fitting and safety catch.
- With additional brooch fitting that unscrews and detaches into two pear-shaped pendants (screw driver deficient).
- Additional marks: necklace clasp with indistinct French maker's mark, possibly 'stars with the letter E' (unidentified).
- Diamonds: principal diamond of 4.84 carats, measures approximately 14.58 x 10.10 x 5.20 mm, assessed to be H to I colour, VS2 to SI1 clarity, medium fluorescence; and 5.95 carats, measures approximately 13.60 x 10.05 x 6.48 mm, assessed to be G to H colour, SI2 to I1 clarity (dark inclusions under table facet and large natural), faint fluorescence. Remaining diamonds total weight approximately 0.08 - 0.10 carat.
