The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Evidence of resizing and minor restoration.
- Additional marks: inner band inscribed 'Pierre à Yvonne avril 1925'.
- Sapphire: 3.468 carats (SSEF) - measures 9.13 x 7.68 x 5.01 mm, with a few typical natural inclusions, some small scratches, nicks and abrasion marks to the table facets and a small nick to the pavilion.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.40 - 1.60 carats, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
