The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition fair. Some scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Evidence of adaptation and lead solder. With post fittings.
- Surmounts later added.
- Metal unsigned.
- Emeralds: measure approximately 13.0-13.5 x 8.5-9.0 x 4.8 mm and 12.5-13.0 x 8.0-8.5 x 3.2 mm (Gem & Pearl Laboratory), calculated to weigh approximately 2.30 - 2.50 carats (minor) and 1.30 - 1.50 carats (moderate), with typical natural inclusions, some surface reaching, some small scratches and nicks to the facets, the smaller emerald with a larger chip to the point.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 2.20 - 2.60 carats, one small single-cut replacement stone, one small marquise-cut diamond deficient.
