The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. With some scratches to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Some traces of tarnish. Clip brooches with good tension.
- The clip backs inscribed with the address of the first owner D. H. Mc Alpin JR 720 Park Ave.
- Metal unsigned.
- Moonstones: in good condition overall, a few small scratches and tiny nicks, with good adularescence.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.00 - 1.50 carats.
