The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age. Some areas of tarnish and traces of solder. Clasp secure, mechanism to unscrew the central element in good working order.
- Central element detachable for wear as a brooch (fitting deficient).
- Additional marks: French import marks for silver and gold.
- Diamonds: the principal cushion-shaped diamond measures approximately 7.32 x 6.80 x 4.08 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.15 - 1.25 carats, assessed to be J to K colour, SI1 to SI2 clarity, no fluorescence; pear-shaped diamond measures approximately 10.30 x 7.50 x 2.15 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 0.80 - 1.00 carat, assessed to be H to I colour, SI2 to I1 clarity, faint fluorescence. Total weight approximately 3.50 - 4.50 carats.
