The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age. Some small areas of tarnish. Single pin fitting.
- Metal unsigned.
- Topaz: some small scratches and nicks to the facets, the pink topaz with small chip to one side.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.20 - 1.80 carats.
- Rubies: with a few abrasion marks and scratches.
