The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Evening bag : overall condition fair. Scratches and nicks to the metal throughout. The front and reverse crinkled consistent with heavy wear, significant indentations. The lid opens but central mechanism not currently working. Mirror to the evening bag with a central vertical split, a few dark spots of tarnish throughout, in particular to the bottom right. Traces of tarnish and dark spots, mainly to the inside.
- Evening bag submitted to the London Assay Office and a verbal report states '75% or more gold - surface analysis on 5 spots'.
- Powder compact: overall condition good. Basketweave in good condition. Some scratches to the inner frame, some traces of tarnish to the inside. The mirror with very few dark spots of tarnish. Opening mechanism in good working order. With French assay mark for 18 carat gold, maker's marks 'R Ankh cross S' for Raymond Soubrenie.
- Lipstick holder: overall condition good. Basketweave in good condition. Some scratches to the metal throughout, some traces of tarnish to the inside. Lipstick mechanism in good working order. Stamped 0,750, with maker's mark 'R Ankh cross S' for Raymond Soubrenie.
- The covers with signs of wear.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 3.00 - 4.00 carats, assessed to be on average I to J colour, VS to SI clarity.
