The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Some tarnish to the clasp. Clasp secure. Bar spacers with additional clasp to wear the necklace as a choker (of 31.5 cm). Discolouration to the silk thread and knots throughout; the necklace would benefit from being restrung.
- Metal unsigned.
- Pearls: of white to cream and grey body colour, with rose and green overtones, overall good to low lustre, round, near round, barrel- and oval-shaped, drilled, with typical variation to nacre, some small blemishes and pits throughout, some with more noticeable blemishes, pitting and loss to nacre.
- Rubies: with some abrasion marks to the facet, the central stone with a larger chip.
- Diamonds: of decorative quality.
