The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Wear commensurate with age. Case with elaborate red, gold and yellow decoration, the reverse with signs of wear. Pendants detachable. With later added post fittings.
- Metal unsigned.
- Porcelain: some small nicks throughout, commensurate with age.
- Foiled red gems: with scratches, small nicks and abrasions marks throughout.
