The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small areas of tarnish. Clasps secure. The necklaces might benefit from being restrung.
- Ruby, emerald and diamond necklaces measure 45.5 and 50.0 cm and weigh 164.8 grams; ruby and diamond necklaces measure 40.5 and 43.0 cm and weigh 121.5 grams; emerald and diamond necklaces measure 38.0 and 40.0 cm and 118.8 grams.
- Additional mark: tongue to one of the ruby and diamond necklaces with Italian 750 mark, other necklaces unsigned.
- Rubies and emeralds: irregular shapes, with numerous typical inclusions, some eye visible, many surface reaching, some scratches, nicks and small chips throughout. The emeralds semi translucent, the rubies generally opaque.
- Diamonds: total weight very approximately 50.00 - 70.00 carats, of decorative quality, a few small diamonds deficient.
