The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Some small areas of tarnish. Bracelet clasps secure, brooch/pendant with retractable suspension loop and double pin fitting with single safety catch, earrings with clip fittings with good tension. Cases and pouches with signs of wear.
- Additional marks: bracelets signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, pendant/brooch, earrings and ring signed VCA, all pieces with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, OR, 750, maker's marks 'Ste amphora LFV' for Lasbleiz Fournier Vitiello.
- Coral: with typical fibrous structure, several lighter areas predominantly to the reverse, with a few light scratches. The coral cabochons on the pendant/brooch and earrings with a more vitreous and polished lustre.
- Submitted to the GCS Laboratory and a verbal report states ‘natural precious coral, Pleurocorallium Elatius, no indications of treatment’.
- Chrysoprase: translucent and evenly coloured, with some minor surface scratches and nicks.
