The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Clip fittings with good tension.
- Additional marks: signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold, maker's marks 'square P & Fils' for Péry & Fils.
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some small scratches and nicks to facets throughout.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 0.70 - 0.80 carat, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
