The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The paper is lightly pitted overall. This does not affect the calligraphy which shows strong pigments overall. The red pigments shows very occasional flaking where initially there were accumulations of red pigments which bubbled when drying. The mount would need to be changed as it is now detached. This lot is in good condition overall.
