The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pink field shows circular stains of different hues of pink which might be due to an exposition to damp. this can be noticed especially in the upper third of the sheet. This does not affect the calligraphy. The gilt strokes and blue dotting patterns remain strong with sharp contrast and in very good condition overall. The marbled paper has been laid down in two parts onto the card.
