Opaque pigments and gold on paper, Humayun facing right, reclining on a bolster at a window adorned with intricate textiles, wearing an elaborate turban, green and red jama and a large pearl necklace, holding a pistol, between green margins with gold floral lattice, with white and gold rules ; the reverse with Shah Jahan facing left, haloed, seated on his throne, leaning against a large bolster under a parasol, richly adorned and attired with a pink jama with gold floral lattice tied with an intricate sash, between pink and blue margins with foliated and floriated gold patterns, laid down on card with dense floral lattice, mounted, glazed and frame
