The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A small number of the gold beads hanging below the necklace has minor dents with some gold leaf losses in places. There are modelled around a waxy material core. The front of the necklace is formed by three panels set with transparent pink and colourless stones. These three panels are possibly a later replacement. The strings show some age and are lightly worn as a result of use. The necklace is in good condition otherwise.
