The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This painting is in overall good condition. There are minor areas of spot staining, and some smudging including to a gold area, probably a sun in the upper right corner. There is some minor creasing, at its worst in the area to the left of the pavilion. The margins also have minor areas of creasing and staining. The back has later owner's notes in ink and pencil and in English, Devanagri, and Persian. It has been reinforced with tape around the edges.
