Ink, gold and pigments on paper, the folio with 12 lines of typical black bihari script, alternatively in blue, black and gold, with rosette verse markers, the text withing gold and polychrome rules, the margins arranged in two columns, one with large red words from the Qur'an, the other with commentery in Persian, with large almond-shaped marginal medallion with palmettes above and below indicating that this is beginning of section (juz') 22, mounted, glazed and in modern bone-inlaid micromosaic frame
