The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The tray shows two areas where the alloy has split. a side of the central hexagon shows some warping and loss to the silver inlay that might had been caused by heat. The box has been repaired and restored from a split to one of its longer sides. This is now restored and a trace of soldering is visible. This lot would benefit from cleaning and further light restoration.
