The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface of the painting is uneven but the pigments are well preserved. It seems that there is some very light dirt layer on the surface. There is a short crease which is approximately 3cm in length under the rear legs of the tiger. The green ground is very slightly rubbed in places, particularly along the top border. There are small losses to the corners. The painting is professionally mounted.
