The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Portrait of Muhammad Shah:
The figure is very well preserved, particularly the face. The gold halo around the face appears rubbed however, particularly at the back of the head. There is a light scuff mark above his elbow, on his waist. There is some minor occasional black spotting. The largest stain is in front of the robe, at knee level. There is a greyish line in the top right corner. The margins are relatively simple with minor staining.
Portrait of seated emperor:
In very good condition overall. There is some minor black spotting, mostly visible around the lower right corner. The card is simply illuminated with light staining and rubbing.
