Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, each ruler depicted haloed and facing left, Muhammad Shah holding a sarpech, wearing a white turban, a white jama held with elegant gilt sash with floral design, his left arm covering the hilt of a dagger with red sheath, identification inscription attributing the painting to Chitarman; the enthroned ruler with intricate turban and sarpech, his jama embroidered with gold trefoil, reclining on three gold bolsters, holding a flower in his right hand, each in gold and blue frame with gold floral knotwork, in white rules, laid on card with gold patterns
