The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The taller :
The lot shows some soldering trace at its base which affects the inlay especially in one place where the soldering deposit affects the entire lower register. the base is not original and is a later replacement, most likely a copper sheet. The inlay shows some scattered minimal loss.

The smaller :
A large restoration patch of smelted tin or equivalent silvered coloured metal can be seen below one of the pavilions at the base border. It affects the lower register and expands on a length of approximately 3 ½in. (9cm.). The inlay shows some scattered losses.
