The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This folio has some losses around the edges, as visible in the photograph. This is at its worst in the lower left corner. There are areas of scuffing to the folio, worst in the upper right corner. The black inscription in the upper right corner is now almost illegible as a result. There are small creases. The reverse of the folio has three sketches of figures in pen and pencil. Some tape has been stuck to the surface. It also has areas of spot staining.
