The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Coleman:
The paper remains in generally good condition although there are scattered foxmarks across the sheet which have been restored. The restoration has left scuffmarks across the sheet. There is some occasional discoloration to the paper, but the sheet is in otherwise good condition. The pastel has been slightly rubbed. Framed.

Italian School, 19th Century:
The sheet is in overall good condition and the media remain strong. The paper is discoloured, slightly more along the edges and there are a few scattered foxmarks. There are two tiny paper losses at the upper edge, but the sheet is in otherwise good condition. Framed.
