The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The paper is in generally good condition and the media remain strong and fresh. The drawing is executed on wove paper and not laid down. The sheet is fixed to its mount with strips of conservation paper along the edges of the verso. The sheet is occasionally a little cockled and there is some very slight discoloration to the paper.
