The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Condition consistent with age and use. Scratches and small indentations to the hardware, indentations to leather under clasp fastening discolouration to the underside of the metal clasp, scuff/scratch marks to leather, creasing to leather in areas; the interior olive/brown in colour slightly faded, with ink marks, scuffs, scratches, small indentations, areas of wear/rubbing and light dust and dirt to corners and pockets
