The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall condition good/very good consistent with age and use; scratches, scuffs and small indentations to the brass wear, some light tarnishing, the handle with some discolouration through use, light scuffs and scratches, the canvas and binding with some small scuff/scratches and nicks; the interior in a good clean condition with some red and other dark marks to the leather lining in places; the luggage tag with some dark marks to leather around clasp.
