The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Scratches to the hardware, tarnishing to the hardware on handle, a few small scuff/scratch marks to the leather, scuff/rub marks to the lower corners and edges, a few small white marks and dirt marks, some small black marks to the underside, discolouration to the handle through use, some other areas of discolouration to the leather, the interior: with some light dirt marks, a few ink marks, scuffs to the seams
